The RMN Sales Partner is a high-activity, growth-oriented role designed to support and accelerate revenue across our rapidly expanding Retail Media Network. This position focuses on unlocking untapped revenue from mid-market and long-tail brand partners while providing critical pre-sale and operational support for our largest enterprise accounts.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to master the mechanics of retail media sales, build exceptional partner relationships, and develop the strategic selling skills required to manage a robust commercial pipeline.

Pipeline Generation & Account Management

  • Actively manage and grow a dedicated portfolio of mid-market and long-tail RMN accounts, driving consistent renewal revenue and pitching incremental media opportunities.
  • Partner closely with all senior sales team members to manage day-to-day communication, preparation, and follow-ups for Tier 1 brand partners.
  • Utilize data pulls, category performance insights, and competitive research to proactively identify upsell opportunities within existing accounts.

Sales Enablement & Pre-Sale Execution

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build media recommendations, pull past campaign performance snapshots, and draft compelling client pitch materials.
  • Maintain flawless CRM accuracy by updating sales pipelines, forecasting inputs, and meeting notes in real-time.
  • Facilitate the creation of Insertion Orders (IOs) and coordinate with internal Account Management and Operations teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.

Market Insights & Professional Development

  • Develop a deep, functional understanding of Petco's omnichannel media offerings, digital advertising, and e-commerce trends.
  • Actively shadow Senior Sellers in strategic Joint Business Plan (JBP) negotiations to learn complex deal structuring, storytelling, and negotiation tactics.
  • Learn to synthesize campaign metrics into simple, actionable narratives that demonstrate clear ROAS to brand partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Culture

  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Account Management, and Merchants to verify inventory availability and ensure campaign feasibility.
  • Contribute to team documentation, standardized templates, and sales playbooks as we continue to scale our internal processes.
  • Actively participate in pipeline reviews, brainstorming sessions, and team sessions to foster a cohesive, high-performing culture.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital media, advertising sales, account management, or agency environments.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint), and a strong aptitude for analyzing campaign data.
  • Exceptionally organized with a proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • A high-energy, "no task is too small" attitude with a strong desire to hit and exceed sales targets.
