What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Executive Rental Property Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Executive Rental Property Manager, you need expertise in property management, financial acumen, and a solid understanding of real estate regulations, often supported by relevant certifications or a real estate license. Familiarity with property management software, leasing platforms, and accounting systems is essential for streamlining operations and compliance. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills help build strong relationships with tenants, owners, and service providers. These skills and qualities are crucial for maximizing property value, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining efficient, lawful operations.

What are the main challenges faced by Executive Rental Property Managers, and how can they be addressed?

Executive Rental Property Managers often face challenges such as balancing tenant satisfaction with owner expectations, handling urgent maintenance issues, and ensuring high occupancy rates for premium properties. Strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and a thorough understanding of local rental markets are essential for overcoming these challenges. Leveraging property management software and building a reliable network of service providers can also help streamline operations and enhance tenant experiences.

What are executive rental properties?

Executive rental properties are high-quality, fully furnished homes or apartments that are leased out, typically on a short- to medium-term basis, to business professionals, executives, or corporate clients. These rentals often come with premium amenities, such as housekeeping, concierge services, and convenient locations near business districts. They are designed to provide comfort, flexibility, and convenience for those who need temporary housing during work assignments, relocations, or extended business travel. Executive rentals are usually move-in ready and offer more privacy and space than a hotel.

What is the difference between Executive Rental Property vs Property Manager?

AspectExecutive Rental PropertyProperty Manager
Primary RoleManaging short-term luxury rental properties for high-end clientsOverseeing daily operations of rental properties, including maintenance and tenant relations

Company Overview

PMI Seagate is a locally owned, fast-growing property management company based in Palm Beach County and part of a nationally recognized property management franchise.

We serve residential rental property owners and community associations across South Florida, helping owners protect their investments, maximize rental performance, and maintain well-run communities that preserve home values. By combining strong local expertise with proven systems and support, we provide a more seamless and stress-free ownership experience for every client we serve.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our team and play a key role in overseeing a diverse portfolio of residential rental properties, community associations, and home watch services. This position also offers the opportunity to earn additional commission through business development as the company expands.

Position Summary

PMI Seagate is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a growing portfolio in Delray Beach and the surrounding South Florida market. This role is responsible for managing residential rental properties, supporting community associations, coordinating maintenance and vendors, conducting inspections, and performing home watch visits for seasonal and absentee homeowners.

The company is in an exciting growth stage, making this a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact in a smaller, entrepreneurial environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing tenant and homeowner communication, operational follow-through, and field-based property oversight. Experience with property management systems is important, and training will be provided on the company’s platforms, including Sync, Rentvine, and LeadSimple.

  • Conduct property inspections, including move-in and move-out walkthroughs

  • Communicate with property owners regarding property performance, maintenance updates, and operational needs

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for association board members and homeowners

  • Assist with board meeting preparation, agendas, and follow-up action items

  • Support budget preparation and help ensure associations operate within approved budgets

  • Coordinate common area maintenance and vendor contracts for community associations

  • Perform scheduled home watch visits for seasonal and absentee homeowners

  • Document property conditions and report issues promptly

  • Maintain accurate records and workflows within company systems, including Sync, Rentvine, and LeadSimple

  • Help refine and improve operational processes as the company continues to scale

  • Support business development efforts, with the opportunity to earn additional commission if desired

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of property management experience

  • Active Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) license

  • Direct experience managing community associations, including board relations, budget support, and common area oversight

  • Direct experience managing residential rental properties, including tenant relations, lease enforcement, and maintenance coordination

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities at once

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation for property visits across South Florida

  • Comfort using property management software and other technology platforms

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with home watch services or seasonal property monitoring

  • Familiarity with Sync, Rentvine, or LeadSimple

  • Experience with or interest in business development and portfolio growth

  • Knowledge of South Florida property markets and local vendor networks

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Compensation, Benefits & More

Compensation: Annual salary 75,000 - 90,000 based on experience with Bonus opportunity

Benefits:
