These positions often require extensive experience, strong negotiation skills, and relevant certifications, with salaries reaching into the high six or seven figures for top professionals.

What is the difference between Executive Rental Property vs Property Manager?

AspectExecutive Rental PropertyProperty Manager
Primary RoleManaging short-term luxury rental properties for high-end clientsOverseeing daily operations of rental properties, including maintenance and tenant relations
CredentialsReal estate license, luxury property management experienceReal estate license, property management certification often preferred
Work EnvironmentLuxury properties, often in prime locations, with a focus on client serviceResidential or commercial properties, managing multiple units or sites

While both roles involve property oversight, an Executive Rental Property focuses on managing high-end short-term rentals for affluent clients, emphasizing luxury and client service. Understanding these differences helps in choosing the right career path or service provider.

What is the 2% rule in rental property?

The 2% rule in rental property is a guideline used by real estate investors, including those managing executive rental properties, to evaluate potential investments. It suggests that the monthly rent should be at least 2% of the property's purchase price to ensure positive cash flow and profitability. This rule helps in quickly assessing whether a rental property is likely to generate sufficient income relative to its cost.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Executive Rental Property Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Executive Rental Property Manager, you need expertise in property management, financial acumen, and a solid understanding of real estate regulations, often supported by relevant certifications or a real estate license. Familiarity with property management software, leasing platforms, and accounting systems is essential for streamlining operations and compliance. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills help build strong relationships with tenants, owners, and service providers. These skills and qualities are crucial for maximizing property value, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining efficient, lawful operations.

What are the main challenges faced by Executive Rental Property Managers, and how can they be addressed?

Executive Rental Property Managers often face challenges such as balancing tenant satisfaction with owner expectations, handling urgent maintenance issues, and ensuring high occupancy rates for premium properties. Strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and a thorough understanding of local rental markets are essential for overcoming these challenges. Leveraging property management software and building a reliable network of service providers can also help streamline operations and enhance tenant experiences.

What is a property executive?

A property executive is a professional responsible for managing and overseeing rental properties, including tasks such as tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and financial management. They often have experience in real estate, property management software, and may hold certifications like CPM or CAM. Their role ensures the property's operational efficiency and profitability.

What are executive rental properties?

Executive rental properties are high-quality, fully furnished homes or apartments that are leased out, typically on a short- to medium-term basis, to business professionals, executives, or corporate clients. These rentals often come with premium amenities, such as housekeeping, concierge services, and convenient locations near business districts. They are designed to provide comfort, flexibility, and convenience for those who need temporary housing during work assignments, relocations, or extended business travel. Executive rentals are usually move-in ready and offer more privacy and space than a hotel.

We help property managers streamline operations, improve communication, automate workflows, simplify accounting, and grow their business through innovative technology and exceptional customer support.
We're looking for a motivated, results-driven Account Executive who understands the property management industry and enjoys helping customers solve real business challenges. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-growing startup, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about closing new business.
Position Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth by managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through product demonstrations, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and closing.
The ideal candidate has experience selling Property Management Software (PMS), HOA software, PropTech, or other SaaS solutions and understands the daily operations of property managers. You will work independently while collaborating closely with SDRs, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Full Sales Cycle
  • Own the complete sales process from qualified lead to closed customer.
  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, industry events, and inbound opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and close new business.
Product Demonstrations
  • Conduct personalized software demonstrations for HOA and rental property management companies.
  • Clearly explain how ManageCasa helps improve operations, accounting, maintenance, communication, and automation.
  • Position ManageCasa's AI capabilities and competitive advantages based on each customer's needs.
Consultative Sales
  • Understand each prospect's business challenges and goals.
  • Recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency and business growth.
  • Build trusted relationships with owners, executives, community managers, and accounting teams.
Relationship Management
  • Follow up consistently throughout the sales cycle.
  • Build long-term relationships that lead to referrals and future expansion opportunities.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Pipeline & CRM Management
  • Maintain accurate opportunity records and forecasts in HubSpot.
  • Keep all customer communications and sales activities updated.
  • Provide weekly pipeline and forecast updates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with SDRs to convert qualified opportunities.
  • Work closely with Marketing on campaigns and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to communicate customer feedback and improve the platform.

Qualifications
Required
  • 3+ years of SaaS software sales experience.
  • Experience selling Property Management Software (PMS), HOA software, Real Estate software, Accounting software, or PropTech solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong software demonstration and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Experience managing a full sales cycle independently.
  • Comfortable using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to travel for customer meetings and industry trade shows.
Preferred
  • Experience selling to HOA, Community Association, Condo Association, or Rental Property Management companies.
  • Startup or high-growth SaaS experience.
  • Existing network within the property management industry.
  • Experience with AI-powered software solutions.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
  • Loves building relationships and earning customer trust.
  • Has a hunter mindset and enjoys finding new opportunities.
  • Is confident presenting software both virtually and in person.
  • Enjoys solving customer problems rather than simply selling software.
  • Is highly organized and follows up consistently.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Works independently while being a strong team player.
  • Is passionate about helping customers succeed.

Performance Expectations
First 30 Days
  • Complete product, industry, and sales training.

  • Begin conducting product demonstrations.
  • Build an active sales pipeline.
Ongoing Expectations
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline with consistent new opportunities.
  • Deliver high-quality product demonstrations each week.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasting.
  • Follow up promptly and professionally with every prospect.
  • Participate in industry events, webinars, and trade shows.
  • Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and customer experience.

Why Join ManageCasa?
  • Fast-growing AI-powered Property Management Software company.
  • Competitive compensation with uncapped commission.
  • Opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing startup.
  • Work with innovative AI solutions for HOA and Rental Management.
  • Collaborative team culture focused on customer success.
  • Career growth opportunities as the company expands.
