Job description

Monitoring Engineer
Remote
Job Description:
This role as part of the Network Operations Center team (NOC) will be on point for the Network Monitoring function for supporting Care Delivery Organizations (CDOs). This role may include travel up to 25% of the time if needed per business needs.
Role:
Point person to support Network Monitoring needs of various CDOs
Take action to help solve issues for CDO Network needs.
Help set and monitor alerts including the use of CDO Dashboards
Configuration of Network hardware appliance at targetted remote sites as needed
Be a liaison between local CDO teams and Monitoring function
Be an expert in using various Network Monitoring tools such as NetScout Pulse, NNMi, Splunk, and more.
If needed by the business, travel to local sites to support business functions to solve network performance-related issues.
Ability to participate in 24*7 OnCall Rotation 365 days per calendar defined for Technology Operations needs.
Minimum Requirements:
7+ years experience in using Network Monitoring tools such as Network Node Manager, Splunk, and Deep packet inspection capabilities (using NgOne and NetScout Pulse)
3+ years experience in providing white glove service based on end-user experience telemetry insights
5+ years of technology experience in Technology Operations (Network, Databases, Applications etc.)
3+ years experience in Linux (RHEL)
3+ years experience in various Database systems - Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL or Postgres
5+ years experience in using Event Management (e.g. Interlink) and Incident Management (Service Now)
2+ years experience in consuming Data visualization dashboards (e.g. Power BI or Grafana) for Alert Management
