Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a highly visible, polished, and professional security presence while creating a welcoming and respectful environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
  • Protect personnel, customers, high-value merchandise, facilities, and company assets from theft, unauthorized access, damage, and other security threats.
  • Monitor the property and conduct routine security checks to identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, security vulnerabilities, or policy violations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining appropriate security protocols, professional boundaries, and discretion.
  • Interact professionally and confidently with clients, VIP guests, executives, employees, vendors, contractors, and members of the public.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, and other situations requiring security intervention.
  • Use strong communication, sound judgment, and de-escalation skills to manage tense or potentially confrontational situations.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency services, client management, and company leadership when necessary.
  • Accurately document and report incidents, activities, observations, and security concerns using company-approved procedures and documentation.
  • Assist with deliveries, vendor access, and clerical or administrative duties when needed.
  • Immediately report security concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information involving clients, employees, merchandise, and business operations.
  • Maintain all required Florida armed security licenses and comply with applicable state regulations, company policies, and client procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be capable of functioning independently and remaining calm in high-pressure or intense situations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Florida Class D and Class G Security Officer License
  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments while demonstrating professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test screening.
