The Advertising Account Executive (AE) is responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring marketing strategies align with client business goals. This role serves as the strategic and communication lead for assigned accounts, partnering closely with Project Managers, Account Coordinators and internal teams to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget. The AE focuses on client success, growth opportunities, and overall account health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for assigned client accounts
  • Financial health of the account including budget management
  • Lead client communication, including meetings, presentations, and ongoing correspondence
  • Clear and timely communication with the Sr. Director of Account Services on important account matters
  • Works closely with Sr. Director of Account Services, President and Controller on contract/scope development
  • Maintains and demonstrates familiarity with the clients' industry, including relevant news, competitive activity, and market dynamics

You should have a proven track record of managing client relationships and multiple active accounts simultaneously, along with familiarity with integrated marketing channels such as digital, social media, print, radio, and TV. Proficiency in common workplace tools, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management systems, is vital for effective collaboration.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for leading client interactions and internal discussions.
