Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager with 10+ years of program management experience and strong expertise in Product Experience Management (PXM), Product Information Management (PIM), Retail, Ecommerce, Merchandising, and Digital Commerce.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale enterprise programs involving product development, modernization, product catalog ecosystems, and digital commerce transformation. This role requires strong technical fluency, executive communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive complex programs across multiple business and technology workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-level programs across Retail, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Digital Commerce, Product Catalog, and PXM/PIM domains.
  • Drive Product Experience Management programs covering product onboarding, enrichment, attribution, taxonomy, PDP maintenance, UPC/SKU/WebID relationships, imagery workflows, pricing, promotions, publishing, and downstream channel enablement.
  • Translate business requirements into program roadmaps, MVP scope, release plans, backlogs, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and executive status reports.
  • Establish and maintain delivery governance across Product Owners, Business SMEs, Architects, UX, Engineering, QA/QE, Data, Integration, SRE, Security, and vendor/product teams.
  • Lead modernization initiatives involving cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, batch-to-real-time transformation, data migration, and operational dashboards.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams supporting PIM/PXM and product-catalog ecosystems, including STIBO STEP, Syndigo, Salsify, Akeneo, in-house PIM/PXM, DAM/CMS, marketplace, pricing, promotions, and downstream commerce platforms.
  • Manage Agile delivery using Scrum/SAFe, Jira, Confluence, sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, release planning, dependency management, and stakeholder demonstrations.
  • Facilitate workshops and decision forums to resolve ambiguity and drive alignment on roadmap, scope, cost, risks, product adoption, and build-vs-buy decisions.
  • Manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, actions, scope changes, and delivery milestones.
  • Provide strategic direction while maintaining hands-on delivery oversight across multiple workstreams and geographically distributed onsite/offshore teams.
  • Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to provide concise steering committee updates, status reports, action plans, roadmap presentations, and proposal/business case inputs.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between product, engineering, architecture, data, security, operations, and vendor teams.
  • Support technical discussions involving Java/Spring Boot, microservices, GCP/cloud platforms, React/UI modernization, Kafka/Pub/Sub, APIs, data platforms, logging/monitoring, and DevSecOps.
  • Track program outcomes, adoption, milestones, dependencies, and business value while ensuring delivery remains aligned with strategic objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Program Management, preferably within Retail, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Digital Commerce, Product, or Technology Transformation.
  • Proven experience leading Product Experience Management (PXM) or Product Information Management (PIM) programs.
  • Strong understanding of the product data lifecycle, including:
    • Product onboarding
    • Product enrichment and attribution
    • Taxonomy
    • Product Detail Page (PDP) maintenance
    • UPC/SKU/WebID relationships
    • Product imagery and workflow
    • Pricing and promotions
    • Product publishing
    • Downstream channel enablement
  • Experience with PIM/PXM or product-catalog ecosystems such as STIBO STEP, Syndigo, Salsify, Akeneo, or comparable in-house platforms.
  • Experience integrating or managing programs involving DAM/CMS, marketplaces, pricing, promotions, and downstream commerce systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert business requirements into roadmaps, MVPs, release plans, backlogs, milestones, dependencies, and RAID management.
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex, enterprise-level programs with multiple workstreams and dependencies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience managing onsite/offshore and geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of modern technology architectures, including cloud, APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, data platforms, and DevSecOps.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity environments and bring structure to complex initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GCP, Kafka, Pub/Sub, Java/Spring Boot, React, microservices, APIs, data migration, and cloud-native modernization.
  • Experience with DAM/CMS, digital commerce, marketplace, pricing, promotion, and catalog platforms.
  • Experience managing large-scale product modernization or digital transformation programs.
  • Experience preparing business cases, proposals, investment roadmaps, and build-vs-buy analysis.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum, or similar certification is a plus.
