Martin Concrete Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Assistant Project Manager to join our growing Critical Projects Group supporting complex concrete construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex.
This is an exciting opportunity for a construction professional looking to grow their career while working on some of the nation's most complex and high-profile projects, including data centers, power generation facilities, waste and water treatment plants, and other mission-critical infrastructure. • Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Track daily field production using Bluebeam while maintaining weather logs, production reports, material tracking, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate material procurement and communicate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Review invoices, verify pay applications, and assist with accurate project cost coding.
  • Lead and document weekly project meetings to maintain communication and accountability across project teams.
  • Support quality control, punch-list completion, and successful project closeout activities.
  • Assist with maintaining project schedules and identifying potential risks before they impact project performance.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer supporting large commercial concrete construction projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and concrete scopes of work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, field personnel, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, and Microsoft Project.
  • Comfortable working primarily onsite at active commercial construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
  • Self-motivated professional with a strong desire to learn, grow, and advance within the construction industry.

Preferred Qualifications
