Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19103 Hybrid (3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)

Team Overview

The team is responsible for managing Business Intelligence and analytics initiatives for multiple business vendors. This role will support critical reporting, analytics, and strategic decision-making functions during a temporary resource gap while partnering closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with strong analytical, reporting, and data visualization expertise to provide strategic and analytical support across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large and complex datasets, building insightful dashboards, performing exploratory analysis, and communicating actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

This individual will operate as a senior-level contributor with a high degree of ownership, supporting both recurring reporting needs and ad hoc, hypothesis-driven analysis while collaborating with business leaders and data teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions and analytical approaches.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, business drivers, and actionable insights.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations for ongoing business operations.
  • Query and combine data from multiple data sources and platforms using SQL.
  • Create presentations and visual storytelling materials to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Evaluate business initiatives, campaigns, and product performance through data-driven analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to align priorities, deliverables, and business objectives.
  • Manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate and high-quality analytical outputs.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience querying large datasets.
  • Experience with at least one reporting/visualization tool:
    • Tableau
    • Power BI
    • Looker
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, presentations, and executive-level insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and business functions.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Periscope or similar BI platforms.
  • Python programming experience for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience supporting streaming media, video platforms, entertainment, or digital content businesses.
  • Exposure to advanced analytics, statistical methodologies, AI/ML techniques, or predictive analytics.
  • Experience supporting Product Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or Customer Analytics initiatives.
