Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary organization shaping and delivering enterprise-scale digital experiences
  • Represent Experience Design as a strategic business capability and influence enterprise direction
  • Shape experience strategy across portfolios, products, platforms, and customer journeys
  • Lead and develop a high-performing interdisciplinary organization and leadership bench
  • Partner with executive leaders across Product, Technology, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Lines of Business
  • Communicate Experience Design vision, priorities, OKRs, and principles while monitoring progress
  • Shape XD-wide decisions, frameworks, standards, and ways of working
  • Define approaches for solving complex customer, associate, and business problems
  • Establish experience quality standards, decision frameworks, and review mechanisms
  • Champion AI-enabled design transformation and integrate emerging technologies
  • Translate enterprise strategy into experience visions, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
  • Drive alignment across product ecosystems and create scalable experience solutions
  • Advise executives through narratives, evidence, and strategic thinking
  • Partner with Marketing and Brand leaders on cohesive customer experiences
  • Review work hands-on, challenge assumptions, and raise the quality bar
  • Evaluate and benchmark product and service experiences using research, data, and digital patterns
  • Lead workforce strategy, organizational planning, and capacity management
  • Drive portfolio governance, prioritization, dependency management, delivery oversight, and continuous improvement
  • Champion inclusive, accessible, trustworthy experiences in a regulated environment
  • Create and deliver visual storytelling, executive communications, presentations, and thought leadership content
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience leading product, experience, or design organizations responsible for large-scale customer-facing digital products and services
  • 10+ years leading and inspiring people, including large, geographically distributed, multidisciplinary teams through multiple layers of leadership
  • Outstanding portfolio demonstrating excellence in experience design and end-to-end multidisciplinary product design
  • Proven track record of shipping, scaling, and sustaining customer-facing digital products and experiences
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional product, marketing, design, legal, risk, and engineering teams
  • Ability to shape business strategy and influence executive decision making
  • Expertise translating complex business, customer, and technology challenges into scalable experience strategies and measurable outcomes
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders and drive enterprise-wide outcomes
  • Experience establishing governance models, prioritization frameworks, investment strategies, and organizational mechanisms
  • Ability to lead AI-enabled transformation and apply emerging technologies
  • Exceptional people leadership, coaching, performance development, talent assessment, organizational design, and leadership development capabilities
  • Expert understanding of human-centered design, product strategy, customer experience, service design, systems thinking, Lean UX, Design Sprints, and Agile
  • Experience in large, complex, highly regulated environments
  • Hands-on organizational change leadership, strategic communications, and complex initiative execution
  • Strong portfolio management, workforce planning, capacity optimization, and organizational planning capabilities
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, listening, and facilitation skills
  • Documented history of delivering measurable business outcomes through customer-centered strategies
  • Deep understanding of modern experience design across web, mobile app, conversational, AI-driven, and emerging interaction models
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Highly proficient with modern design, design systems, AI-enabled creation, and design-to-code platforms, including Figma, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code
  • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
