Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with onboarding and integration activities for DoW personnel, helping ensure all necessary steps are completed accurately.
  • Provide general administrative support to office leadership, including scheduling assistance, calendar updates, meeting coordination, and routine correspondence.
  • Support office operations such as document preparation, data entry, record updates, and basic materials reviews for accuracy and compliance with standard formats.
  • Help coordinate personnel actions including security paperwork routing, CAC and NIPR account requests, onboarding/offboarding checklists, and related documentation.
  • Assist with basic travel coordination in the Defense Travel System (DTS), including monitoring changes and helping prepare required information.
  • Support daily office functions such as supply requests, IT ticket submissions, equipment tracking, mail/package handling, and SharePoint updates.
  • Maintain records in accordance with established DoW and federal policies.
  • Communicate professionally with internal staff and external stakeholders in writing, email, and in-person as needed.
  • Provide assistance for special projects and mission support activities when directed.
Requirements:
  • Active Top-Secret clearance required at date of hire with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • Masterโ€™s Degree and 6 Years profession experience; bachelorโ€™s degree and 11 Years professional experience; or 16 years professional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • The ability to provide on-site support in the Pentagon, Monday through Friday, during core business hours of 9am-3pm.
  • Experience providing professional and analytic deliverables, insights in support of technical, managerial, procedural, project tasks.
  • Experience supporting onboarding or offboarding of civilian & senior civilian and military level personnel, such as CAC and NIPR account requests, routing security clearance paperwork, routing ethics paperwork.
  • Prior experience working correspondence management, task assignment and tracking, or Executive Secretariat-like functions in the U.S. government.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Professional work experience within the OSD or the DoW.
  • Prior experience working with and/or supporting senior-level officials and knowledge of the structure and missions of the OSD and the Components.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of concierge level support across competing urgent requirements.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to objectively view requirements and evolve operations to maximize efficiencies.
  • Ability to produce quality work independently or in a group setting, provide solutions to customer issues, and solve problems quickly occasionally in an ambiguous environment.
Compensation:

$90,000 - $135,000 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of ATSI's total compensation package. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidateโ€™s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience.
