Job description

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in South Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Executive Housekeeper, Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week.

The best Executive Housekeeper would be detail-oriented, organized, reliable, trustworthy, and proactive. Each day, the Executive Housekeeper should come in and have a rotation of areas to clean in order to keep the 5,300 sq ft. home clean and tidy. In the afternoons between 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm, the Executive Housekeeper would also be asked to pick up the family’s 12- and 13-year-old children from school or after-school activities (one child may be at school every day until 5:00 pm, except on Wednesdays). The bulk of the role (80%) is housekeeping; the other 20% is transporting the children home from school and activities, running errands, and pet care/management.

The family also travels frequently. When they are traveling, the cleaning duties are reduced, and they ask the Executive Housekeeper to assist with pet care while they are away. They do have a neighbor who can help with the pets in the evenings.

Executive Housekeeper Responsibilities Include:


  • Cleaning all areas of the home on a rotating schedule

  • Picking up their two children from school between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm

  • Washing, folding, and putting away laundry

  • Changing sheets weekly

  • Picking up groceries

  • Running Errands

  • Taking dogs to the groomer and vet

  • Pet care when family is traveling

Pets: The family has 1 labradoodle and 2 cats. The dog may need to be let out in the yard. Pet care is expected when the family travels.

Qualifications:

  • Have at least 3 years of professional Executive Housekeeper experience

  • Have a college degree or equivalent experience

  • Have a professional resume

  • Fill out a complete online application

  • Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

  • Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

  • Have a valid driver’s license

  • Have safe and reliable transportation

  • Have a minimum of three professional references

  • Be non-smoking/vaping

  • CPR and First Aid Certified

  • Executive should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

  • This position starts September 15th, 2026

  • Legal pay is offered at $30 an hour
