Job description

Music & Entertainment Development / Administrative Associate

Part-Time | Flexible / Project-Based Opportunities

Queens Village, NY | Home Office

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a versatile, motivated and entrepreneurial individual interested in working with growing businesses and developing projects spanning music, entertainment, creator development, marketing, partnerships and business operations.

The primary position includes administrative and clerical support for Finest Executive Protection, an established New York security and executive transportation company.

However, we also operate and are developing projects in the music, entertainment and creator space, including Titan Verses and Rising Stars & Legends (RSAL). We are particularly interested in candidates whose backgrounds extend beyond traditional administrative work and who may have skills, ideas, experience or industry relationships that can help move these projects forward.

About Titan Verses & Rising Stars & Legends

Titan Verses is an emerging-talent platform focused on discovering artists and creating opportunities through talent competitions, digital content, audience engagement, performances, partnerships and other initiatives.

Rising Stars & Legends (RSAL) is being developed to connect emerging talent with established artists, entertainment professionals, creators, businesses and career opportunities.

We are interested in individuals who want an opportunity to contribute during the growth and development stages of these projects.

Experience & Skills We're Seeking

Candidates do not need experience in every area below. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience, skills or professional relationships involving:

  • Music and entertainment
  • A&R and talent discovery
  • Artist relations and artist development
  • Talent and creator partnerships
  • Music/entertainment marketing
  • Audience and community growth
  • Social media strategy
  • Content development and production
  • Public relations and media outreach
  • Events and live entertainment
  • Project management
  • Sponsorship development
  • Brand partnerships
  • Entertainment business development
  • Strategic partnerships
  • Administrative and organizational support

Candidates with existing relationships within music, entertainment, media, brands, artist management, record labels or the creator economy are especially encouraged to apply.

What You Could Work On

Responsibilities will depend upon the candidate's background and may include:

Administrative and clerical support; research and project coordination; artist and creator outreach; identifying potential talent and industry professionals; developing relationships with potential Rising Stars and Legends; sponsorship and brand outreach; coordinating entertainment projects and events; developing audience-growth initiatives; marketing and social media; identifying strategic partners; and helping turn new concepts into actionable projects.

We are especially interested in candidates who can identify specific ways their existing experience and skill sets could help develop and grow Titan Verses and Rising Stars & Legends.

Schedule & Compensation

The current administrative position pays $22 per hour and is primarily scheduled for Saturdays, tentatively 10:00 AMโ€“2:00 PM, with a four-hour minimum.

We can be flexible regarding the number of Saturdays worked. Depending upon the candidate and responsibilities, additional Friday, Saturday or Sunday hours may also be available.

Saturday availability is not necessarily required for candidates who have skills or experience that could meaningfully contribute to Titan Verses or Rising Stars & Legends.

For the right candidate, we are open to discussing flexible scheduling, different workdays, additional hours, part-time involvement, project-based assignments, or entertainment-focused responsibilities separate from the administrative position.

Compensation for responsibilities outside of the advertised administrative position would be discussed based upon the role, experience and scope of work.

IMPORTANT โ€” OFFICE LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION

This position is based at a private home office in Queens Village, Queens, NY.

There are no subway or train stations within convenient walking distance of the office.

Candidates working on-site should therefore be comfortable commuting by either:

โ€ข Personal vehicle โ€” candidates who drive can travel directly to the office and parking is available in the area; or

โ€ข Bus โ€” the office can be reached using local bus service.

Please consider the commute before applying. If you rely exclusively on subway or train transportation and are not comfortable transferring to a bus, this location may not be convenient for you.

The home-office environment supports several businesses and developing projects. Candidates should therefore be comfortable working in a professional home-office setting rather than a traditional commercial office building.

Certain Titan Verses/RSAL responsibilities may potentially be handled on a more flexible or project-based basis depending upon the assignment, but the administrative position itself requires working at the Queens Village office.

Who We're Looking For

This opportunity could be particularly attractive to someone who has worked in music, entertainment, record labels, artist management, media, creator platforms, marketing, public relations, events, partnerships or business development and would like to become involved with projects while they are being built.

We value candidates who are:

Resourceful โ€ข Organized โ€ข Reliable โ€ข Creative โ€ข Relationship-oriented โ€ข Self-directed โ€ข Comfortable working with developing projects

Most importantly, we are interested in people who can take an objective or idea and help move it toward execution and measurable results.

How to Apply

Please submit your rรฉsumรฉ through LinkedIn.

Along with your rรฉsumรฉ, we encourage you to briefly answer:

1. What experience, relationships or skill sets do you have that could help grow Titan Verses or Rising Stars & Legends?

2. Are you interested primarily in the administrative position, the entertainment/project-development opportunities, or both?

3. Are you able to commute to a Queens Village home-office location by car or bus?

Candidates may be considered for the administrative position, entertainment/project work, or a combination of both, depending upon experience, interests and availability.
