Job description

Huron helps its clients drive growth, enhance performance and sustain leadership in the markets they serve. We help healthcare organizations build innovation capabilities and accelerate key growth initiatives, enabling organizations to own the future, instead of being disrupted by it. Together, we empower clients to create sustainable growth, optimize internal processes and deliver better consumer outcomes.
Health systems, hospitals and medical clinics are under immense pressure to improve clinical outcomes and reduce the cost of providing patient care. Investing in new partnerships, clinical services and technology is not enough to create meaningful and substantive change. To succeed long-term, healthcare organizations must empower leaders, clinicians, employees, affiliates and communities to build cultures that foster innovation to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
Joining the Huron team means you'll help our clients evolve and adapt to the rapidly changing healthcare environment and optimize existing business operations, improve clinical outcomes, create a more consumer-centric healthcare experience, and drive physician, patient and employee engagement across the enterprise.
Join our team as the expert you are now and create your future.
As an Oracle Health Solution Consultant, you will support healthcare organizations through Oracle Health implementation, go-live, stabilization, optimization, adoption, and post-implementation initiatives. You will partner with clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders to improve workflows, drive user adoption, resolve issues, and optimize the use of Oracle Health solutions across healthcare environments.
This role requires a blend of healthcare operations knowledge, Oracle Health expertise, workflow optimization, stakeholder engagement, and change management capabilities. Consultants may support acute care, ambulatory, revenue cycle, federal, or integrated healthcare delivery organizations throughout various phases of the implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support Oracle Health implementation, go-live, hypercare, stabilization, optimization, and post-implementation activities.

  • Provide end-user support, workflow guidance, and issue resolution for clinicians, operational leaders, and other healthcare stakeholders.

  • Evaluate clinical, operational, and revenue cycle workflows and recommend opportunities for process and technology improvement.

  • Facilitate issue triage, prioritization, escalation, and resolution while tracking risks, dependencies, and critical incidents.

  • Conduct workflow assessments, user observations, and root-cause analysis to identify workflow, configuration, adoption, training, and process-related issues.

  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders to support organizational objectives and project success.

  • Support user adoption, operational readiness, and change management initiatives through coaching, knowledge transfer, and stakeholder engagement activities.

  • Monitor system adoption, operational performance, and key project metrics to identify trends and continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, issue logs, risk registers, training materials, and executive communications as needed.

  • Participate in governance forums, command center activities, readiness reviews, and post-implementation assessments to support long-term client success.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Oracle Health (Cerner) experience supporting implementations, go-lives, optimization, informatics, adoption, operational transformation, or application support initiatives within healthcare organizations.

  • Experience working with healthcare workflows, including clinical, ambulatory, acute care, ancillary, revenue cycle, or operational functions.

  • Experience supporting healthcare technology deployments, workflow improvement initiatives, or post-implementation support programs.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments.

  • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder relationships and communicating effectively with frontline staff, leadership teams, and project stakeholders.

  • Experience documenting issues, tracking resolutions, and communicating project status and recommendations.

  • Bachelors Degree

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or other government-required background investigation.

  • Ability to travel extensively in support of client engagements and implementation activities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Oracle Health go-live, stabilization, optimization, adoption, or post-go-live recovery initiatives.

  • Clinical informatics, workflow optimization, process improvement, or operational excellence experience.

  • Experience with user adoption, organizational change management, readiness assessments, training, or super-user programs.

  • Experience analyzing adoption metrics, operational performance indicators, support trends, or dashboard reporting.

  • Federal healthcare, VA EHRM, Department of Defense, or other government healthcare experience.

  • Familiarity with Oracle Health Federal, VistA, CPRS, or other legacy healthcare information systems.

  • Relevant certifications such as Oracle Health, PROSCI, clinical licensure, healthcare informatics, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or SAFe.

The estimated base hourly rate range for this job will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans, which include medical, dental and vision coverage, and other wellness programs. The rate range of information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
