Mercedes-Benz of Indianapolis is Hiring an Automotive Internet Sales & Acquisition Specialist
We are not looking for someone to simply monitor our CRM-we are looking for someone who owns it. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and takes immediate action to convert opportunities into revenue. You will work closely with the Sales Management team and Sales Consultants to ensure no opportunity is missed, and every customer interaction is maximized.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead Management & Conversion
  • Respond immediately to internet leads, phone inquiries, and chat opportunities
  • Oversee and manage AI tools
  • Convert inbound inquiries into appointments and showroom traffic
  • Follow up on unsold opportunities and missed appointments
  • Step in and assist when leads go untouched or mishandled
  • Customer Engagement & Communication
  • Actively work phones, email, and text communication daily
  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with all prospects
  • Service-to-Sales Conversion
  • Identify service customers with equity or upgrade potential
  • Engage service customers to generate sales opportunities
  • Inventory Acquisition / Appointment Setter
  • Proactively contact service customers about selling or trading their vehicles
  • Reach out to private-party sellers (Facebook Marketplace, online listings)
  • Assist in sourcing high-quality used vehicle inventory
  • Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales Managers and Sales Staff to drive team success
  • Support dealership-wide goals and initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, and text)

  • Previous automotive BDC, CRM, or inside sales experience preferred
