Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Logistics Freight Forwarding Sales Account Executive to develop new business opportunities and manage client relationships within the transportation and logistics industry. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of freight forwarding operations and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with CargoWise is a plus. Bilingual candidates (especially Chinese/Mandarin) are highly preferred.

This position offers a flexible work arrangement and does not require daily in-office attendance. However, the role requires regular weekly client visit reports, consistent client visits, and in-office presence 2–3 days per week to support team collaboration and business development efforts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding (air, ocean, and ground).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Understand customer logistics needs and provide tailored transportation solutions.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Prepare and present pricing proposals, quotations, and service contracts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sales.
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations (air, ocean, import/export processes).
  • Proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with CargoWise is a plus.
  • Mandarin Chinese required.
