IT Field Technician Executive Image Solutions, Inc. | Lemoyne, PA | Full-Time, On-Site Field Role Executive Image Solutions has been taking care of small businesses, non-profits, and local governments across Central Pennsylvania for over 30 years. We’re a Managed Services Provider — IT, VoIP, copiers, and document management — and we’re looking for a hands-on IT Field Technician to join our team in Lemoyne. This is the role for someone who’d rather be on a site rebuilding a network than chained to a help desk all day. If you like solving real problems in real environments, keep reading. About the role You’re the person our clients see when servers go in, networks get rebuilt, and PCs get deployed. You’ll spend most of your week on the road across the Harrisburg / Central PA region, typically within an hour of Lemoyne. When you’re in the office, you’re prepping hardware, knocking out tickets, or writing documentation. Documentation is part of the job, not an afterthought. Network diagrams, asset inventories, configuration notes, runbooks — if you put it in, you write it up. What you’ll do day to day • Deploy and replace PCs, servers, firewalls, switches, and access points at client sites • Stage and configure new hardware before it ships out, then bring it online onsite • Document every install — diagrams, asset records, configurations, and runbooks the rest of the team can actually use • Execute assigned project work and hit the due date you’re given (scoping, scheduling, and project planning are handled by our project leads — you focus on getting the work done right) • Pick up in-house support tickets when you’re between projects • Work directly with clients on-site — explaining what you’re doing in plain language, not IT-speak What we’re looking for • 2–4 years of hands-on field or MSP experience. You’ve already deployed PCs, racked servers, configured firewalls, and pulled cable in real production environments — not just in a lab. • Self-directed at client sites. You can walk into an unfamiliar environment, figure out what’s going on, and get the work done without a senior tech holding your hand. • Strong communication skills. Our clients are business owners and office managers, not other IT people. You can talk to them like a normal human being. • Disciplined about documentation. If it’s not written down, it didn’t happen. We expect every install to leave a paper trail. • Reliable and organized. If you say you’ll be there at 9, you’re there at 9. If a project is due Friday, it’s done Friday. Technical skills you should already have • Windows Server — 2019 through the current release. Installation, configuration, and basic Active Directory. • Windows 10 and Windows 11 deployment and configuration at scale • Microsoft 365 admin fundamentals — user provisioning, Exchange Online, license management • Network fundamentals — VLANs, basic routing, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi deployment • Firewall configuration — Ubiquiti or Meraki preferred; Fortinet experience also welcome • Switching and wireless — Ubiquiti experience is a strong plus • Solid grasp of change management principles — nothing in production without a plan, a backout, and documentation Nice to have • Hosted VoIP experience — we run Cytracom as our primary platform (also bVoIP / 3CX and RingCentral) • Kaseya 365 experience — RMM, ticketing, patching. If you’ve worked in another MSP’s PSA/RMM stack, you’ll pick ours up quickly. • Industry certifications — CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+, Microsoft, Ubiquiti UBWA/UEWA, Meraki CMNA, Fortinet NSE Required • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a clean driving record (we run them) • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs — you’ll be moving servers, UPS units, switches, and PCs in and out of client sites • Able to pass a federal criminal history background check — several of our clients (medical, financial) require it • Authorized to work in the United States • Based in Central PA or willing to relocate — this is an on-site / in-the-field role, not remote What this role is NOT • Not an on-call position. Field techs at EIS don’t run a nights-and-weekends rotation. When the day is done, the day is done. • Not a remote desktop support role. You’re in the field, in client offices, doing physical work most days. • Not a dead-end job. We promote from within. The path from Field Tech to Senior Tech to Project Lead is real and we’ve walked people down it. Why work here • Stable, 30-year-old local company. We’re not a startup, and we’re not getting acquired. • Small team — about 20 people across the company. Your work is visible and your contribution matters. • Modern stack: Kaseya 365 for RMM/PSA, Ubiquiti and Meraki on the network side, Cytracom for VoIP. The tools you’ll learn here transfer. • We invest in our techs — training time and certifications are part of the deal. • Veteran-friendly workplace. (Our Director of IT & VoIP is USAF.) • Health benefits, paid time off, and a tight-knit team that actually likes working together. How to apply Submit your resume through this listing. Why Executive Image Solutions
We've been doing this for over 30 years. Same town, same family of clients, same focus: take care of the businesses that make Central Pennsylvania run. Our clients are small companies, non-profits, school districts, and local governments within about an hour of our Lemoyne office — most of them have been with us for years, some for decades. That's not an accident. It's the result of showing up, doing the work, and standing behind it.
We're a Managed Services Provider — IT, VoIP, copiers, and document management — and about 20 people cover all of it. That size matters: your work is visible, the team knows your name, and decisions don't disappear into a corporate org chart. If you've got an idea for how to do something better, you can walk it down the hall to leadership and get an answer the same week.
We're stable. We're not chasing a venture round, we're not getting acquired, and we don't lay people off when the market gets choppy. We invest in the techs we hire — training time, certifications, and a real path forward from Field Tech to Senior Tech to Project Lead. We're a veteran-friendly workplace (our Director of IT & VoIP is USAF). We run a modern stack you'll actually want on your resume — Kaseya 365 for RMM and PSA, Ubiquiti and Meraki on the network side, Cytracom for VoIP. And we take care of our team the way we take care of our clients: like the people who pay our bills, because they do.
In your backyard, and part of your community.
