As a North America HEOR Manager, you will help shape the HEOR strategies to support NorthAmerica reimbursement strategies. The position reports to the Senior Director, Market Access (Canada)and HEOR (North America) Commercial Operations. This role will support the development andimplementation of market access and reimbursement tactical plans for new and existing productsthrough the lens of outcomes research, health economics and budget impact for North America; also, toshape the Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy in partnership with ourclinical and medical affairs team. The HEOR will support market access activities for the ADC portfolio to maximize and protect patient access in NA across the product life cycle. Thismanager has the responsibility for scientific soundness of activities, and ensure outcomes alignedwith business needs. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Develop HEOR/outcomes-based models to support solution specific business cases thatcan be leveraged by key health system stakeholders and for internal market accessstakeholders
  • Plan and support economic model adaptations, especially with key clinical study results andstatistical analyses
  • Ensure publication of relevant, high-quality data in impactful HEOR publications (includingpresentation of findings at scientific congresses, key internal cross functionalworkshop/forum, and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals)
  • Ensure effective communication of health economics & outcomes studies progress and results to relevant audiences (e.g. investigators, brand team, etc.)
  • Prepare abstracts/manuscripts of study results for publication / presentation, as required
  • Liaise with consultants, contract research organizations, economic experts, etc. on various health economics & outcomes research projects
  • Cultivate effective working relationships with key opinion leaders to support publicationplans
  • Collaborate with clinical research on studies with economic and quality of life endpoints
  • Ensure alignment of key internal stakeholders (commercial, RWE, medical and clinicalteams) on business priorities and HEOR projects
  • Develop and present materials to demonstrate product value including outcomes research,economic models and slide presentations.
  • Investigate opportunities for differential reimbursement for differentiated products throughclinical evidence and for emerging technologies
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Health Technology Assessment and HEOR; track and evaluatereimbursement decisions and take action to mitigate impact for ADC's business
  • Manages cost center budget

Education and Experience You'll Bring

Required

  • Masters or PhD Degree: Advanced degree (masters or PhD or MD) in Health Economics and/or outcomes research, epidemiology ispreferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience along with workexperience in HEOR, Evidence Generation and/or Reimbursement
  • Understanding of the health systems environment and US market access landscape
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially presentation development;especially in regards to working across cultures
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to advance projects with limited supervision
  • Strong commercial/ business background an asset
  • Experience in medical technology or pharmaceutical space
  • Experience in diabetes area desirable
  • Knowledge of health economics and outcomes research, reimbursement, coverage, codingand payment mechanisms globally is highly desirable
  • Creative ability to develop innovative programs and to develop novel methodologies foreconomic analyses applied to the medical Technology industry is highly desirable
