Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:

As the Sr Director of IT Infrastructure Engineering leads the overall infrastructure group, including but not limited to Data Center operations, Service Desk, Network, Telephony, and End User Computing. This person will be responsible for setting the strategic vision for the architecture, design, and implementation for Enovis' hybrid technology environment. This role will be responsible for the design of key objectives, standard operating procedures, and processes that align and support the overall needs of both IT, InfoSec, and the Enovis business globally. This role will define the short and long-term strategy for the IT organization and leading a global team to execute this strategy, while ensuring alignment internally with the other functions within IT, reporting directly to the IT leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for IT Infrastructure to ensure all systems are designed and implemented following standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, with a keen lens into determining the "right fit" to the goals, budget, and thoughtful speed of implementation that suits Enovis' overall vision.
  • Partners with the CISO to maintain HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2 Type II, and NIST compliance across all infrastructure domains.
  • Oversees vulnerability management, patching cadence, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity planning (BCP).
  • Define and execute a 3-5 year infrastructure roadmap aligned with enterprise business and digital transformation goals.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the CIO on infrastructure investments, risk posture, and technology innovation.
  • Lead annual infrastructure budget planning for capital and operational expenditures.
  • Drive ITIL-aligned service delivery including incident, problem, change, and capacity management processes.
  • Define and enforce SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs; produce executive dashboards and reporting on infrastructure health and performance.
  • Manage relationships with strategic vendors, MSPs, and technology partners; lead contract negotiations and QBRs.
  • Develop the Server and Storage, Networking and Database Reference Architecture Library
  • Provides technical expertise and judgement on projects, solutions, and staffing.
  • Develops capacity plans to ensure performance, latency reduction, and resiliency.
  • Drives the development, coaching, and training of the team members by setting goals and objectives, implementing career paths to performance and succession planning.
  • Establish the monthly operations review forum and define the KPIs and metrics to monitor and manage team and service performance levels.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years technical management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or the like.
  • Candidates must be very proactive, communicative, self-motivated, organized, and results oriented.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure in healthcare, life sciences, or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), enterprise networking, virtualization, and storage technologies.
  • Demonstrated success leading global teams and managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, NIST, and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and business acumen skills.
