Account Executive – ConstructionPosition Overview

We're looking for a driven, activity-focused hunter to join our Construction sales team. This is an outbound-heavy role built for someone who thrives on prospecting, building pipeline from scratch, and closing new business, not just managing what's already there. You'll carry the full range of Autodesk, Leica, Productivity NOW and Bluebeam construction solutions plus services, giving you flexibility to lead with whatever fits the account and the deal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Account Management:
    • Develop and execute a sales strategy to identify, engage and close deals with organizations in the construction industry.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and business objectives.
  • Solution Selling:
    • Present the full range of Autodesk Forma Products, Leica, Productivity NOW and Bluebeam construction solutions and services, tailored to the specific requirements of organizations.
    • Conduct meetings, highlighting the value of IMAGINiT solutions in project planning, execution and post-construction phases.
  • Market Development:
    • Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the construction sector to position IMAGINiT | Autodesk as a leader in digital transformation.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns, and represent IMAGINiT at onsite trade shows, industry events, and in-person customer engagements to build pipeline face-to-face
  • Revenue Generation:
    • Achieve and exceed sales targets by driving adoption and upselling solutions within existing and prospect accounts.
    • Negotiate pricing and terms to close high-value deals.
    • Stay activity-driven — consistent daily outbound prospecting, pipeline building, and forecast management are core to success in this role.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in software sales, 3-7 years experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Autodesk construction solutions or other construction tech, a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical workflows and present solutions effectively.
  • Strong Salesforce acumen for pipeline and forecast management.
  • True hunter mentality with strong outbound skills and a track record of building pipeline from scratch.
  • Ability to multitask across a high volume of accounts and think on your feet in fast-moving deals.

Key Competencies:
  • Activity-driven and goal-oriented with strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Hunter mentality — energized by prospecting and new business development, not just account maintenance.
  • Strong outbound skills and comfort with high-volume, fast-paced prospecting.
  • Quick thinking and adaptable — able to think on your feet and adjust approach mid-conversation.
  • Strong multitasker who can manage a full pipeline and forecast with precision.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments/teams.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced sales environment.
