Job description

A growing commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead healthcare-focused construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex builds in highly regulated environments, collaborate closely with field teams and clients, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, organization, and experience managing healthcare or similar commercial construction projects.
Construction Project Manager Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of healthcare construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project timelines and productivity
- Develop and maintain project schedules, cost tracking, and progress reporting to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, healthcare regulations, and quality expectations on all job sites
- Review and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
- Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to clients, field teams, and leadership
- Identify and resolve project risks, delays, or scope changes in a timely and professional manner
- Support project closeout activities, including punch list completion and final documentation turnover
Construction Project Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
- Experience managing hospital and/or public projects around $5M strongly preferred
- Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management strongly preferred
- Procore proficiency strongly required
