Position Description:
The Construction Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for guiding clients through the construction process while providing professional project management to produce high quality projects, on time and on budget. This role is fully responsible for multiple single-family projects concurrently while periodically providing support for other firm operations. At Haven, Construction professionals work collaboratively with Design professionals each and every day. 

Responsibilities:
  • Be an Expert Guide to Clients by Leading Construction Services. 
    • Manage Client Relationship, Ensure Quality Customer Service. 
    • Understand, Communicate, and Ensure the Execution of Client’s Values, Goals, and Vision.
    • Provide Clients with Timely, Accurate, and Helpful Information 
      • Facilitating Bi-Weekly Client Meetings (w/ Agendas + Minutes). 
      • Creating + Managing Schedules (Gantts). 
      • Accurate Construction Budgeting + Reporting.
  • Prepare and Manage the Construction Schedules. 
  • Prepare and Manage Construction Budgets. 
  • Collaborate and Coordinate Site Supervisor Work.
  • Manage Project Administration and Documentation. 
  • Permit Submittal And Coordination. 
  • Coordination with Inspections. 
  • Prepare and Release Bid Packages. 
  • Review + Approve Bidders, Check Bids for Compliance. 
  • Manage + Schedule Subcontractors.
  • Order Specification Materials + Equipment. 
  • Review + Approve Expenses. 
  • Prepare Progress Invoicing + Payments. 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree Required (preferably in applicable industry).
  • Strong understanding of Project Management. Highly Organized.
  • Able to be a Confident and Capable Guide for Clients. 
  • Able to work within a Collaborative Team Environment. 
  • Must possess technical and trade knowledge required to manage residential construction.
  • Demonstrates systematic commitment to all construction best practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management skills.
  • Maintain positive relationships through courteous and respectful actions. 
  • Must have a smartphone with a data plan.
  • Must possess a valid NC driver’s license.
