Assistant Project Manager (Data Center & Commercial) – Salt Lake City, UT

Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with a leading electrical contractor to identify motivated Assistant Project Managers who are ready to accelerate their careers while supporting large commercial and mission-critical data center construction projects in the Salt Lake City market.

This opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented professionals looking to grow into a Project Manager role through hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to complex electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with planning, execution, and successful project delivery.
  • Assist with scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
  • Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, and project documentation.
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Assist with contract administration and project closeout.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with field and office teams.
  • Track project progress and assist with resolving project challenges.
  • Support monthly billings, reporting, and financial documentation.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of electrical construction experience.
  • Experience supporting commercial or mission-critical construction projects preferred.
