What are 7 careers that require Excel skills?

Excel skills are valuable in many careers, including financial analyst, data analyst, accountant, project manager, business analyst, operations manager, and marketing analyst. These roles often require data organization, analysis, and reporting using Excel's functions, formulas, and pivot tables. Proficiency in Excel can enhance efficiency and decision-making across various industries.

Will Excel skills be replaced by AI?

Excel Developers rely on advanced spreadsheet skills, data analysis, and automation using tools like VBA. While AI can automate some repetitive tasks, it is unlikely to fully replace the need for Excel expertise, especially for complex data modeling and customized solutions that require human judgment and programming knowledge.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Excel Developer position, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Excel Developer, you need advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming, often supported by a relevant degree or certification such as Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS).
