Repairers of the Breach, Inc. is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Raleigh, NC. Born out of the North Carolina Forward Together Moral Movement, we seek to build a moral agenda rooted in a framework that uplifts our deepest moral and constitutional values to redeem the heart and soul of our country.

Today, our organization builds grassroots power to combat immoral policies regarding labor, voting, LGBTQ+ rights, healthcare, and criminal justice. We sustain a national movement united across race, class, gender, and faith to repair the breaches caused by centuries of systemic oppression and injustice.

 

Position Summary

The Office Manager serves as the operational backbone of our Raleigh-based nonprofit. This role ensures daily administrative functions run smoothly while providing critical support in grant compliance tracking, database management, and human resources administration, including full-cycle payroll processing. This 100% on-site position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can seamlessly balance workplace operations, personnel support, and financial tracking to advance our organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities

Office & Facilities Management

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure a highly productive, safe, and professional work environment.
  • Act as the primary liaison with building management, vendors, and IT consultants regarding equipment maintenance, repairs, and office supplies.
  • Manage the inventory of office supplies, technology hardware, restocking as necessary.
  • Maintain and optimize office infrastructure, including physical and electronic filing systems

Executive & Board Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer, including calendar management, scheduling, and expense reporting.
  • Coordinate logistics for Board of Directors and committee meetings, including scheduling, assembling meeting materials, taking meeting minutes, and tracking RSVPs.
  • Serve as a welcoming, public-facing point of contact for visitors, donors, and community partners

 

Payroll & Human Resources Support

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately using ADP payroll services, including managing deductions, tax updates, and direct deposits.
  • Lead employee onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires, including workspace setup, issuing equipment, and managing system access.
  • Manage personnel records ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with North Carolina labor standards
  • Administer staff benefits, acting as the main point of contact for health insurance, retirement plans and PTO tracking

Grant Tracking & Financial Administration

·      Manage EveryAction CRM, utilizing this unified Constituent Relationship Management and digital engagement platform to track donor contributions, manage contact records, and pull fundraising reports.

·      Monitor grant timelines, tracking crucial deliverables, reporting deadlines, and funding milestones.

·      Coordinate fund allocation documentation with project managers to ensure compliance with donor restrictions.

·      Prepare financial expense reports and compile supporting documentation required for grant audits.

  • Monitor administrative and general operating budgets, highlighting any variances to leadership.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3+ years of administrative experience, with direct exposure to HR support and grant-funded nonprofit environments.
  • Systems & Software: Hands-on experience processing payroll via ADP and operating the EveryAction CRM platform is highly preferred.
  • Grant & Tech Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace/Microsoft Office; experience with grant tracking tools or QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Location Presence: Ability to work 100% on-site at our Raleigh office Monday through Friday.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with a proven ability to handle sensitive personnel and payroll information discreetly.
  • Organization & Multitasking: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
