Job description

Title:Events & Exposition Sleep Expert

Exempt Status:Non-Exempt

Management Level:Individual Contributor

Reports To:Manager, Events & Exposition Sales

Job Summary:The Events & Exposition Sleep Expert is a sales role focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences at fairs, rodeos, trade shows, expositions, and other special events. This position combines product knowledge, sales expertise, and customer service skills to help attendees find the right sleep solutions while representing the brand with professionalism. The role also involves supporting event logistics to ensure smooth execution before, during, and after each show.

Approximately 75% travel is expected for this position. Candidates must reside within the mainland United States and within 60-90 minutes of a major U.S. airport.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Adheres to conference planning schedule, policies, and guidelines
  • Assist with the event set-up and tear-down
  • Attend related conference calls with management
  • Minimizes shrink through inventory management practices
  • Embraces and encourages turnovers to and from other partners working the event
  • Offers motivational support to other partners attending the sales event
  • Participates in training classes to stay abreast on product and company programs
  • Maintains confidentiality of information
  • Represents the company in a professional manner
  • Completes other projects and special assignments as requested by supervisor and/or Senior Management
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Demonstrates individual sales excellence on all product categories
  • Represents at least thirty (30) percent of total volume of event sales
  • Meets minimal margin and ticket goal established by management
  • Incorporates corporate directed selling strategy for designated products/services into selling behavior
  • Maximizes sales opportunities based on key performance indicators
  • Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts
  • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation
  • Communicates any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations
  • Proactively engage with attendees in high-traffic, dynamic environments.
  • Represent the company in a polished and professional manner at all times.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Professional Experience

  • 1+ Years Retail Experience required And
  • 3+ Years Direct Sales Experience required
