Job Tasks/Duties:

  • Moves furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis
  • Stage and sound set-ups as needed for events. (indoors & outdoors)
  • Assists with setting up tables, chairs and other furniture needed for special events. (indoors & outdoors)
  • Maintains outside of clubhouse building (i.e., cleans steps, walkways, patios and entrances).
  • Pressure washing
  • Leaf blowing
  • Buffs floors.
  • Washes windows.
  • Shampoo carpets
  • Reports any damage, burned-out light bulbs and plumbing problems to their Supervisor
  • Takes trash to dumpster
  • Handles recycling materials.
  • Cleans walls throughout clubhouse as necessary
  • Cleans exterior of HVAC vents
  • Conducts occasional painting projects.
  • Stage and sound set-ups as needed for events. (indoors & outdoors)
  • Sets linens for events per Banquet Event Order
  • Transports clean linen from the laundry room to the event space, and then transport used linen to the laundry room after event conclusion.
  • Dusts rooms and furniture
  • Vacuums carpets and mops floors throughout the club
  • Sweeps patio area and dusts patio furniture.
  • Cleans and polishes brass
  • Polishes glass, table surfaces, counters, shelves, desks, office equipment and door handles.
  • Maintains outside of clubhouse building (i.e., cleans steps, walkways, patios and entrances).
  • Conducts deep-cleaning projects.
  • Vacuums elevators; cleans stairwells and landings; dusts ceiling light fixtures; does spot cleaning as necessary; checks drapes for needed repairs and missing hooks.
  • Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Management Team.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to read Banquet Event Orders and execute requirements in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to use ladders when required.
  • Ability to lift, up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and climbing.
