Job description

CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for a Master Benefits Advisor / Master Trainer to support our client at Belvoir, VA.

Conduct transition activities in support of the VA. Transition support includes conducting standardized VA Benefits and Services Briefings, one-on-one engagements, pre-separation counseling support, military life cycle (MLC) events, Capstone events, and warm-handover support. Master Advisor’s provides leadership and subject matter expertise in management and technical areas such as training, logistics, policy, data management, and program controls. Conducts training to other Benefits Advisors using knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures consistent with adult learning theory. Serve as a Master instructor delivering established curriculum, training tools, and ensuring course content and delivery methods follow established training objectives. Identifies possible course material revisions based on instructor and participant feedback or suggestions.

Supports the Site Lead with staffing, event management and logistics activities at assigned installation; ensures integrated and proactive communications, quality management and risk management practices. Responsibilities may include:

  • Operational deployment activities for staff at assigned installation
  • Executing non-event Activities at assigned installation
  • Travel management activities for staff at assigned installation
  • Developing coverage model for assigned installation
  • Schedule field staff training at assigned installation
  • Execute order review and inventory management activities at assigned installation
  • Participate in weekly leadership teleconferences/virtual meetings
  • Inform installation staff about new policies, procedures and operational guidance
  • Execute quality management activities at assigned installation and across the program
  • Deliver onsite activities and execute post-event data collection activities
  • Deliver new employee training to prepare new program members for delivering the approved curriculum

Required Skills

Required Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 – 7 years’ equivalent work/military experience
  • Preferred emphasis in Training, Education, Career Counseling, or HR
  • Appropriate certifications
