Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, organized, and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to lead the growth of banquet, catering, social, and corporate event business. This role is responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, coordinating event details, and maximizing revenue opportunities for the property.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, hospitality-focused, and experienced in selling weddings, corporate meetings, social events, and catering functions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
  • Prospect and generate new catering and banquet business through outbound sales efforts, networking, referrals, and community involvement
  • Respond promptly to incoming catering and event inquiries
  • Conduct property tours and client meetings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, wedding planners, schools, sports teams, and community groups
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales goals
Event Planning & Coordination
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), and event timelines
  • Coordinate event details with clients including menus, room setup, AV, dcor, and scheduling
  • Communicate event requirements clearly with operations, culinary, banquet, and front office teams
  • Ensure seamless execution of all events and high guest satisfaction
Revenue & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maximize banquet revenue through upselling and strategic pricing
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and sales systems
  • Track leads, bookings, forecasts, and sales activity
  • Review banquet checks and billing accuracy
  • Participate in weekly sales and operations meetings
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of catering sales, hotel sales, banquet sales, or event management experience preferred
