Position Summary

Anthology Events is seeking an organized, energetic, and hospitality-driven Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of private events from contract through completion. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication, exceptional service, and flawless event execution.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Client Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
  • Conduct planning meetings, venue tours, and site visits.
  • Develop event timelines, floor plans, and detailed event orders.
  • Manage client communications and ensure all event details are accurately documented.
  • Guide clients through menu selections, rentals, decor, timelines, and logistical planning.
Event Execution
  • Oversee on-site event operations from setup through breakdown.
  • Coordinate with culinary, operations, sales, and venue teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Act as the lead contact during events, proactively resolving issues and adapting to changing needs.
  • Ensure service standards and guest experience expectations are consistently met.
Operational Coordination
  • Communicate event details effectively across all departments.
  • Maintain accurate event documentation and planning systems.
  • Confirm vendor logistics, deliveries, staffing needs, and event requirements.
  • Assist with inventory, rental coordination, and operational planning as needed.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Track event deposits, payments, and billing details.
  • Review event costs and assist with budget management.
  • Ensure contracts, insurance certificates, and event documentation are completed and organized.
  • Support reporting and event forecasting efforts.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of event management, catering, hospitality, hotel, or venue experience.
  • Experience managing weddings, social events, corporate functions, or luxury hospitality events preferred.
