As a key player in our team, you will be the driving force behind unforgettable experiences - building lasting relationships with both clients & vendor partners while driving revenue through tailored event solutions. From enchanting weddings to milestone celebrations, you will guide the clients from inquiry and site tours to negotiation and contracting, ensuring their vision becomes reality. Then, our expert Special Events Producer and Sales Coordinator will take the reins to seamlessly bring every detail to life.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

May include, but not limited to:

  • Sales Generation: Actively sell social event and offsite catering packages, services, and products to potential clients through various channels such as inquiries, prospecting, referrals, walk-ins, and networking.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Provide personalized assistance and recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing vendor partners through regular communication, visits, and personalized service to secure repeat referrals.

  • Proposal Development: Prepare customized proposals and quotes tailored to each client's specifications, highlighting the features, benefits, and costs of the proposed event packages and services.

  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to finalize contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies, pricing strategies, and service standards

  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue performance. Generate regular reports and analyses to track sales trends, identify opportunities for growth, and optimize sales strategies.

  • Marketing Collaboration: Partners with the Director of Event Sales and Services and the Greenleaf Hospitality Group Marketing team to develop marketing initiatives and collateral for the Wedding Studio.

  • Event Support: On an as-needed basis provide event day support to the Special Events. Producer, typically high volume, multi-social event days.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the wedding or event industry

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.

  • Proven performance in achieving revenue goals and high levels of satisfaction from clients.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the social events business.

  • Must be organized, able to multi-task and perform in a high paced environment, with competing priorities.
