Job description

We are seeking a motivated, personable, and community-focused Fundraising Event Assistant to support the planning, promotion, and execution of fundraising events from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in nonprofit events, fundraising, event marketing, community outreach, donor engagement, and customer service.

The Fundraising Event Assistant will work closely with event coordinators, fundraising professionals, community partners, volunteers, and supporters to create engaging events that increase awareness and support for our organization and its mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising events.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and exceptional guest and donor service.
  • Welcome attendees, answer questions, and provide accurate information about events, programs, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Support event registration, check-in, guest communication, and onsite activities.
  • Help promote fundraising campaigns and events to increase community awareness, participation, and support.
  • Assist with event setup, decorations, signage, materials, displays, and overall event presentation.
  • Collaborate with management and event teams to understand event goals and help ensure a successful experience for guests, donors, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Help maintain positive relationships with donors, supporters, volunteers, and community members through professional and engaging communication.
  • Work with marketing and communications teams to promote upcoming fundraising events and outreach initiatives.
  • Assist with coordinating volunteers and supporting event-day responsibilities.
  • Help track event materials, supplies, attendance, and other administrative details.

Qualifications
