About the Company:
Founded in 2017 by Anthony and Joe Russo, AGBO is an artist-led independent studio shaping the future of film and television. The Russo Brothers and AGBO have generated more than $7 billion at the global box office, including Avengers: Endgame. The studio's projects include Academy Awardwinning Everything Everywhere All at Once, Netflix hits The Gray Man and Extraction, and Prime Video's visceral thriller The Bluff and the global Citadel franchise. Citadel Season 2 premieres in May 2026.

AGBO is currently in production with Netflix on Tygo and Mercenary, both part of the Extraction universe, as well as with Lionsgate on John Rambo, a prequel to the iconic franchise. The studio is in post-production on The Whisper Man, starring Robert De Niro, and Avengers: Doomsday, which will be released December 18, 2026. AGBO will begin shooting Avengers: Secret Wars later this year. Both upcoming Avengers films are directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and co-produced by AGBO and Marvel Studios.

Position Summary:
AGBO is looking for a Senior Technical Designer to support the execution of large-scale Live Events on an unannounced video game title. Working closely with the Live Events Director, you will help bring the vision to life by building and implementing memorable, player-defining experiences. You will play a key role within a cross-disciplinary team, contributing to innovative event design and ensuring a high-quality player experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design vision, documentation, and implementation of major features and Live Event experiences from start to finish.
  • Implement designs in Unreal Engine using Blueprints, working hand in hand with engineers, animators, VFX, and sound.
  • Support collaborative, iterative prototyping from early concepts through in-engine execution.
  • Participate in playtests, gather feedback, and find practical solutions to design challenges.
  • Contribute to big-picture decisions and partner with other designers to keep the team focused on the highest-impact work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5-8 years of professional game design experience with multiple shipped titles.
  • Broad knowledge of and real passion for games across genres.
  • Experience on online games with live operations.
  • Solid familiarity with multiplayer game design.
  • Clear understanding of player motivations, behavioral patterns, and engagement systems.
  • Adaptable and solutions-focused, with the ability to move quickly when priorities shift.
  • Strong communicator who can align cross-disciplinary teams and take ownership of collaborative outcomes.
