Job description

Job Summary:

The duties and responsibilities of an Event Coordinator center on planning and managing events of varying sizes and purposes. Coordinators must understand what it takes to make sure the logistics work out, keep everything within the allocated budget, arrange onsite event vendors, ensure that the event itself is carried out smoothly and resident satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Execute the planning, promotion and implementation of recreation activities, up to and including attention to financial and time constraints
  2. Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise or impact the integrity of the event
  3. Monitors the Clubhouse usage and coordinates the rental schedule
  4. Tracks event/program enrollment.
  5. Detailed recap of the event through social media postings to evaluate the event’s success
  6. Works with community to innovate and plan new ideas and events and attend them
  7. Performs special projects as assigned by Property Manager.
  8. Ability to work a flexible schedule including split shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays per event scheduled.
  9. Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and venues
  10. Negotiating with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
  11. Detailed recap of the event through social media postings to evaluate the event’s success

Requirements and Skills:

- Proven experience as event coordinator
