Event Bartender – Bastion Events
About Bastion Events

Bastion Events creates elevated, hospitality-driven experiences throughout Houston, specializing in luxury private events, corporate gatherings, weddings, and curated celebrations. As part of the Bastion Collection, we are committed to delivering exceptional food, beverage, and service experiences through our venues, including Soleil and Bar Moon, as well as our off-site catering division; Bastion Events.

We are seeking professional, energetic, and hospitality-focused Event Bartenders to join our growing events team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy creating memorable guest experiences, and take pride in providing exceptional service, we would love to have you join our team.

Position Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience required.
  • Experience in upscale restaurants, luxury catering, hotels, private events, or fine dining environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
  • Ability to provide polished, professional service in a high-end event setting.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid TABC Certification (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
  • Reliable transportation required, as events may take place throughout the Greater Houston Area.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing exceptional hospitality and guest service.
  • Accurately execute beverage menus, including specialty cocktails, wine selections, and custom event offerings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bar area throughout each event.
  • Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown as needed.
  • Provide attentive, personalized service while anticipating guest needs.
  • Work collaboratively with event managers, servers, culinary teams, and fellow bartenders to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Represent the Bastion Events brand with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Scheduling & Availability
  • Flexible scheduling based on your availability and event calendar.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Availability for a minimum of two shifts per month is preferred.
  • Event shifts may vary based on client needs and event schedules.
  • Events are held throughout the Greater Houston Area, including Bastion venues such as Soleil and Bar Moon in the Galleria area, as well as off-site locations.
