Job description

We are obsessed with the hero's journey at JobNimbus. Every person has a hero's journey. Hermione Granger, James T. Kirk, Frodo Baggins, Anna & Elsa, Nacho Libre, and even YOU! This is our โ€œcall to adventureโ€ to come check out JobNimbus. What do you have to lose? You might make a few new friends, learn about a sick new company doing some amazing things, and maybe youโ€™ll even land a new job!

Mission:

Be the operational backbone that makes every event possible. You'll own end-to-end coordination of field events, webinars, and virtual programs, managing logistics from the first kick-off call to the final post-event report, and making decisions confidently without needing to be told what napkin color to order.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Own field event logistics-from pre-event planning and supply coordination to on-site execution and post-event reporting
  • Manage webinar and virtual event production end-to-end: scheduling, speaker management, platform setup, and live run-of-show
  • Juggle up to 10+ events simultaneously as event project owner, keeping every event on time and on budget
  • Own the event supply and swag inventory system-auditing stock, flagging shortages, and ensuring materials are always event-ready
  • Coordinate internal events (offsites, team meetings, training sessions, celebrations) including venue, catering, and AV
  • Compile and distribute post-event reports on attendance, engagement, and key takeaways-consistently and on schedule
  • Build repeatable systems and processes that make the next event run smoother than the last
  • Travel to field events and trade shows as needed (~30% of the time)

What Makes You the Hero for This Job:

  • 2+ years in event coordination, field marketing, or a related operations role, SaaS industry experience is a huge plus
  • Proven experience managing webinars or virtual events, with strong project management skills
  • You make decisions confidently and independently, you don't need approval on every detail to move forward
  • You stay calm and organized when juggling 10+ events at once; stress is your operating environment, not a warning sign
  • You're a behind-the-scenes operator who takes pride in the logistics others overlook
  • Hungry and hardworking matters more to us than years on a resume
  • Comfortable with occasional travel (trade shows, field events โ€” think Dallas, not just the hallway)
  • Proficient in project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, Notion) and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
  • Nice to have experience with HubSpot or other CRM/Marketing automation platforms; background in supporting trading shows or external field events; familiarity with event software platforms

A Few Additional Heroic Things Worth Knowing:ย

  • This is a fully in-office role in Lehi, UT-that's the expectation, not the exception. Flexibility is a perk, not a policy.
  • Travel is part of the job-field events, trade shows, and the occasional trip that requires a valid passport
  • You'll be joining a lean, fast-moving team where your work directly enables revenue-generating events
  • This is not a passive, request-taking role. You'll own the systems, not just execute what's handed to you

ย Superpowers:

  • Ownership. You take full responsibility for outcomes. Events run on plan because you made it happen and no one chased you for it.
  • Customer Obsessed. In event coordination, the "customer" is every internal stakeholder, attendee, and presenter counting on you. You lead with their experience in mind-not just checking boxes, but making sure every webinar, field event, and internal gathering actually lands well for the people it's for.
  • Proactive Learning. You treat event operations like a craft. You study what went wrong in the post-event report, refine your run-of-show, get sharper on the platforms, and build better processes each time. You don't wait for someone to tell you what to improve-you find it yourself.
  • Team Commitment. You know that a flawless event is never a solo act. You partner closely with field marketing, vendors, AV teams, and internal stakeholders-sharing what's working, flagging issues early, and making sure every handoff is clean so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Self Awareness. You know this is a behind-the-scenes role and you own it proudly. You're honest about where your systems are tight and where they need work. You take feedback without defensiveness and use it to get better-because the event doesn't care about your ego, it just needs to run
