MDG is hiring!
We are searching for a Senior Account Manager to join our account team. Our ideal candidate will own all aspects of campaigns, including internal and client-facing kickoff meetings at the start of an initiative to completion of delivery. The Senior Account manager will support senior account team members in executing creative work, building effective client relationships, and managing the critical components that drive growth and success for clients.
MDG follows a hybrid work model of Monday/Friday remote and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in our Boca Raton office. Our scheduled work hours are 9a-6p.
What you'll do:
• Guides and manages all day-to-day activities for assigned clients in development of advertising campaigns and projects within the approves plans
• Manage creative, digital, social and media projects from inception to completion ensuring on-time delivery
• Timeline development and management of all client deliverables
• Develop client meeting agendas, post meeting contact reports and any follow-up deliver actions needed
• Manage internal communications to provide direction and/or updates across departments including creative, social media, and media for campaigns or individual projects
• Plans, manages, and executes ongoing project development and timing to ensure that progressive stages are approved with adequate time to meet schedules and deadlines
• Respond to client phone calls and be aware of all client activities to provide back-up to account lead
• Work with the account director to compile, update and issue status reports, daily hot sheet items and tracking of campaign results and performance
• Maintain all client information in an organized manner as needed for accurate proofreading and meeting of client standards
• Act as liaison with other agency departments and vendors
• Develop briefs and prepare presentation decks
• Prepare post meeting client contact report
• Manage blog and content development and social media updates
• Manage client budgets and billing
• Actively build relationships with clients
• Keep apprised of client's products/services/marketing developments
• Gather and assemble background information, research, and analyses as needed for development of creative briefs and monthly presentations
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field required
• 5+ years' ad agency experience managing and executing multi-channel digital projects
• Some experience in digital, social, traditional, media is required
• Understanding of general advertising principles and account service client management protocol
• Manages multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease
• Tactful and diplomatic communication skills; internal, external, formal and informal written, and verbal
• Ability to communicate complex information in easy-to-understand terms
• Skilled in presenting to high level clients
• Able to actively build and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues
• Must be willing to go above and beyond to ensure client's issues and requests are sufficiently resolved
• Organized and pays attention to every detail
• Proactive problem solving
• Hospitality, healthcare, and retail experience a plus
• You must have a valid driver's license and have your own reliable transportation to attend client meetings and events
