THE WORK
Lockheed Martin's DARKWING program is seeking a talented and highly motivated level 3 Systems Engineer-IT, Sr. with a TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance to work from our customer site in Dahlgren, VA .
The Systems Engineer develops, delivers, and operates affordable engineering and sustainment solutions for commercial, military and intelligence users across the globe.
As Systems Engineer you:
Should have an engineering background and be familiar with Virtual Machines, Windows and LINUX Domains, Systems integration, SQL Database, Network Integration, hardware procurement, COTS software, and maintenance of operating systems.
Must be experienced in troubleshooting anomalies and failures.
Must be familiar with Security Engineering/ Systems Engineering for IC Security controls such as ICD503 certifications, defining workflows and monitoring for system compliance.
Must be skilled in the set up and maintenance of firewalls/servers/network switches and routers/applications.
Must have strong inter-personal and communication skills and must be capable of successfully explaining procedures in writing and verbally.
Will be on weekend/evening or call-in work occasionally required supporting 24x7 operations or maintenance activities.
This role offers the opportunity to travel to other sites and provides exposure to various technologies.
This is an MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.
