Job Summary:
Sedaro is hiring Junior-Staff Modeling & Simulation Engineers to build the high fidelity simulation software that powers their cutting-edge simulation platform. The role involves developing simulation capabilities, taking ownership of technical projects, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to refine software solutions.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Taking ownership of technical projects and driving development.
โ€ข Developing high-fidelity simulation software and analysis tools for a diverse range of complex systems and validating these models against real-world data.
โ€ข Configuring and executing large-scale multi-simulation studies that leverage cloud compute resources for uncertainty quantification, sensitivity analysis, and optimization.
โ€ข Performing code review for peers and providing technical feedback and suggestions to other engineering teams to drive platform improvement.
โ€ข Supporting contract meetings with technical input and demonstrations to external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in physics, applied math, engineering, or similar
โ€ข Proficiency writing software to model complex physical systems
โ€ข Experience with git, automated testing, and related software development tools & practices
โ€ข Experience validating simulation models against real-world data
