Job Summary

DUTIES: Provide technical leadership to a team responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the Ops Automation Platform; develop front-end software using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, React, Angular, Vue.js, Redux, Vuex, Webpack, and Babel; develop back-end software using Golang, Python, Gin, Go modules, pip, Go testing, and Pytest; perform container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker; work with Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP; use AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC; design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Github, and ArgoCD; manage large-scale clusters using Ansible and Terraform; monitor and manage services using Prometheus and Grafana; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience developing back-end software using Golang, Python, Gin, Go modules, pip, Go testing, and Pytest; performing container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker; of which three (3) years include developing front-end software using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, React, Angular, Vue.js, Redux, Vuex, Webpack, and Babel; working with Cloud platforms including AWS; using AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC; designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and Github; and managing large-scale clusters using Ansible and Terraform; of which one (1) year includes monitoring and managing services using Prometheus and Grafana.

Compensation

Base Pay: $171,000.00

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
