Job description

FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Bronx Community College seeks Adjuncts to teach courses in at least one of the following areas: World History, U.S. History, World Geography, and/or Introduction to Philosophy.
Courses may be taught in the day or evening. Courses may be in-person, hybrid, online.
QUALIFICATIONS
Adjunct Lecturer:
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully. Minimum of 1 year of college teaching experience.
Adjunct Assistant Professor:
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully. Minimum of 1 year of college teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Adjunct Lecturer:
Master's degree in History, Geography, or Philosophy.
Adjunct Assistant Professor:
Doctorate in appropriate area(s) of History, Geography, or Philosophy.
