Position Overview:
George Washington's Mount Vernon is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated staff for several positions in the fast-paced, high-volume Food Court & Pavilion. We are a tourism-based organization, thus weekend and holiday work can be required.
The Hospitality Associate is a front-of-house, guest-facing role responsible for delivering a welcoming, efficient, and positive dining experience in The General's Canteen. This position supports daily food service operations through cashiering, guest assistance, cleanliness, and upkeep of dining and guest areas. Hospitality Associates play a key role in maintaining high standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
Compensation:
$15.00 to $18.00 based on experience
Expected Hours:
28-30 hours/week, several shifts available, including weekend and evening hours
Essential Duties:
  • Strong hospitality and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent personal presentation and professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining food safety standards
