Job description

ANNOUNCEMENT
Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the part-time/adjunct instructor position in the Business Administration - eSports program. Part-time instructors are hired on an as-needed basis. Your application will be placed in a pool for review as part-time teaching assignments become available.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Part-time/adjunct faculty in the Business Administration - eSports program are responsible for teaching the objectives for any course assigned, the assessment of student learning, and reporting of student progress as required by the college.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Bachelor's degree with a specialization in eSports management, sports management, information technology, game development, business management or related field, required
  2. Minimum of 1 year of professional experience.
  3. Knowledge of eSports industry titles and related fields
  4. Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers, applicable software, and Internet required.
  5. Knowledge of product manuals, gaming systems and software
  6. Shall meet the minimum standards of instruction established by the Administration and the Board of Trustees for any assigned courses.

STARTING PAY AND HOURS
Salary varies based on educational level and number of units taught. Starting rates for the current Academic Year can be viewed on SWIC's Employment page .

WORK LOCATION
Business Administration - eSports courses are offered at the SWIC Belleville Campus.
