Opportunity Overview

Teradyne is seeking a Corporate Environmental Compliance & Sustainability Engineer to lead global environmental compliance, sustainability reporting, and corporate EHS initiatives. This highly visible role is responsible for interpreting and applying environmental regulations and product stewardship requirements, managing the Company's annual Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) submission, supporting Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) reporting and emissions reduction planning, responding to customer environmental requests, and coordinating environmental and safety reporting requirements, including OSHA reporting. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance and sustainability, partnering with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, and EHS teams to ensure compliance with evolving regulations while advancing Teradyne's sustainability objectives.

  • Lead global environmental compliance, sustainability reporting, and corporate EHS initiatives for Teradyne.
  • Interpret and apply environmental regulations, product stewardship requirements, and evolving reporting frameworks across company operations and products.
  • Manage Teradyne's annual Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) submission, including data collection, verification, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Support Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) reporting, greenhouse gas emissions tracking, and long-term emissions reduction planning.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, and EHS teams to ensure compliance while advancing Teradyne's sustainability objectives.
  • Respond to customer environmental, sustainability, and product compliance questionnaires and disclosure requests.
  • Coordinate environmental metrics, ESG disclosures, OSHA annual reporting, and other corporate EHS reporting requirements.
  • Leverage data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and compliance processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Sustainability, or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, environmental engineering, EHS, product stewardship, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability reporting frameworks, and compliance programs.
  • Experience with CDP, greenhouse gas inventories, carbon accounting, ESG reporting, or sustainability disclosures.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical, scalable business solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex reporting processes, organize data from multiple stakeholders, and meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and globally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SBTi, GHG Protocol, Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions reporting.
  • Knowledge of REACH, RoHS, WEEE, EPR, packaging regulations, and product environmental compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting customer environmental compliance requests, sustainability questionnaires, and disclosure requirements.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
  • Experience with data analytics, automation, or AI tools used to improve compliance and reporting processes.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $75,900-$112,300. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
