Job description

Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Bedford, MA

Duration: 3 year contract with benefits

Pay Range: $50-$68/hr.

must be eligible to get Secret Clearance

Hybrid: 1 day per week onsite


Description:

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing and talent acquisition strategies using various means such as passive job seeker identification, advertisements and social media campaign(s), career/job fairs and college recruitment. Will collaborate with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to support talent acquisition needs and initiatives. Will partner with Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager to ensure that talent pipelines are proactively developed and are inclusive of a diverse candidate pool. The Sr. TA Specialist will source, screen, recommend and interview qualified candidates for vacant positions and will proactively partner to understand and address current and future workforce planning needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Drives the recruiting process including sourcing, screening, interviewing and advising in the selection of final candidates for assigned division/departments. Participates in the negotiation of offers.
  • Develop an understanding of the assigned functional areas' talent needs and develop talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire best-in class talent.
  • Establish, build and maintain strong and effective relationships and partnerships with hiring managers.
  • Actively ensures the quality and effectiveness of staffing activities for designated departments/groups; educates managers on the hiring process and tools; recommends and implements process improvements as needed and serves as a leader on projects, as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting, preferably in an engineering and/or research & development environment.
  • Experience using social media and the latest sourcing tools and methods (Boolean Internet Search, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Detail-oriented in organizing, managing, and tracking candidate flow
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills
  • Ability to present new recruiting concepts to talent acquisition team
  • Some travel will be required to attend job fairs, campus recruiting and diversity events
  • Experience with virtual recruiting platforms as well as experience with virtual interviewing methods and demonstrated ability to foster relationships
  • General knowledge of current employment laws and practices.
  • Proficiency with web-based applicant tracking systems, recruitment platforms, and Microsoft Office


Education:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or relevant concentration is required. Directly related experience will be considered as equivalent.

-Interim clearance is acceptable to start


Hybrid:
-Hybrid schedule - onsite 1 day/wk


Interview Process:
initial zoom interview, followed by an in person wider group interview.
