Westminster Title Company, a Toll Brothers company, seeks an experienced Escrow Officer for our operations in Irvine, California.

What is the opportunity?

This position is on-site 5 days per week.

Escrow Officers are responsible for coordination and communication of all parties to facilitate closings. They handle preparation of all necessary documents in the settlement and ensure all processes are in accordance with local, state, and federal law.

What are the primary responsibilities?

  • Communication and coordination with various parties involved in the transactions to facilitate closings
  • Preparation of closing documents
  • Disbursement and Post Closing of files
  • Conduct closings as allowed by local, state, and federal law and local custom
  • Clearance of title objections if necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Does this describe you?

  • Solid knowledge of Escrow Closings of real estate transactions
  • Experience communicating with all parties to a Builder/ Residential or commercial real estate closing
  • Proven track record of directing a team of escrow assistants to close high volume while maintaining excellent customer service and a quality and accurate product
  • Detail Oriented, good time management skills and works well in a team setting

Do you have these qualifications?

  • Essential:
    • A minimum of 3 years of previous related professional experience
    • Extensive knowledge of escrow industry practices, laws, and regulations
    • Escrow certification may be necessary in some states and necessary continuing education and/or seminars to maintain designations; has Notary Public Certification
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years work related experience

The salary for this position is $32.94-$43.68 per hour.
