What is an escalations manager?

Escalations Managers are professionals responsible for handling and resolving complex or high-priority customer issues that frontline support teams are unable to resolve. They coordinate between different departments, communicate directly with customers, and ensure that problems are addressed quickly and effectively. Their role also involves identifying recurring issues, recommending process improvements, and maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring timely resolutions. Escalations Managers often work in industries like technology, telecommunications, or customer service, where managing customer relationships is critical.

How does an escalations manager typically collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer issues?

As an Escalations Manager, you will regularly work with teams such as customer support, product development, engineering, and sales to address and resolve challenging customer concerns. This collaboration often involves facilitating meetings, collecting technical details, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on the resolution strategy. Effective communication and strong problem-solving skills are key, as you’ll need to coordinate resources and provide customers with timely updates. Building strong relationships with internal teams is essential to expedite solutions and prevent similar issues in the future.

Housekeeping Supervisor @ Bandon Dunes Golf Resort

Lever Organic

Bandon, OR • On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 6 days ago

Job description

As the Housekeeping Supervisor at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, you're the person who makes sure our guests walk into a room that feels exactly right. You'll lead a team of housekeepers, housepersons, inspectors, and shift leads — coordinating the daily work, coaching people in real time, and making sure our cleanliness standards hold up whether it's a slow Tuesday or a packed weekend. This is a working supervisor role: you'll be on the floor, doing inspections, solving problems, and keeping things moving. If you find satisfaction in running a tight, well-trained team and take pride in the details most people never notice, this is your kind of job.

About Bandon Dunes Golf Resort:
Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort also has an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve, and the new Shorty's opened in 2024. The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

Beyond premier golf, guests delight in a variety of dining options at Bandon Dunes’ collection of restaurants. Whether you're looking to enjoy locally sourced, Pacific-Northwest cuisine accompanied by an award-winning wine list or prefer kicking back in a Scottish-style setting with traditional pub fare and local microbrews, there is something for everyone.

Working at Bandon Dunes is a dream for golf fans, outdoor enthusiasts, and hospitality professionals alike. The Bandon Dunes team works together to create trips of a lifetime for our guests. We are passionate stewards of our resort, community, and environment. As an endlessly curious group, we ask questions, share ideas, and always look for a better way. With a hard-working attitude, we help guide our guests through their pure golf experience, immersed in Oregon’s natural beauty and away from the demands of daily life.

What You'll Do:
  • Keep the team coordinated and on task. You'll assign and direct daily work for housekeepers, housepersons, inspectors, and shift leads — making sure room turnovers happen on time and public spaces stay guest-ready throughout the day.
  • Be the quality check everyone relies on. You'll conduct daily room inspections, catch what needs correcting, and coach staff in the moment. When something keeps coming up, you escalate it to the Housekeeping Manager rather than letting it slide.
  • Train people and set them up for success. Onboarding new team members and refreshing existing staff on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and resort standards falls to you. You'll also handle corrective conversations when needed — firmly but fairly.
  • Keep safety front and center. You'll make sure your team follows OSHA standards for chemical handling and equipment use. Daily compliance checks are part of your routine, not an afterthought.
  • Handle guest concerns in the moment. When a guest has a housekeeping issue, you respond promptly and find a solution. Complex problems get escalated to the Housekeeping Manager — you know the difference between what you can solve and what needs to go up the chain.
  • Track supplies and report daily to management. You'll keep the Housekeeping Manager informed on team performance, maintenance needs, and supply usage. Staying ahead of what the team needs to do their job is part of staying ahead of the day.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
  • You've supervised a housekeeping team before. Experience leading housekeeping staff in a hotel or resort is what we're looking for. You know what a productive team looks like and what it takes to build one.
  • You're comfortable on your feet and in the details. This role is physical — standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30–50 lbs is part of the day. You don't manage from a desk; you manage by being present.
  • You communicate clearly with all kinds of people. Your team will speak different languages and come from different backgrounds. Guests will catch you in the hall. Management will need updates. You're comfortable navigating all of it.
  • Schedules don't rattle you. This role includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You plan for it rather than resist it.
  • You're organized under pressure. When the day gets busy — and it will — you can triage, delegate, and keep quality up without losing your composure.
A Few Things to Know:

This is an active, on-your-feet role. You'll spend extended periods standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. You'll work around cleaning chemicals and equipment that require attention to safety protocols. Shifts include weekends and holidays — that's the nature of resort hospitality, and it's something the whole team navigates together. You'll also need to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Perks and Benefits for Full Time Employees:
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Enjoy a well-rounded benefits package that covers your health, wellness, and financial future.
  • Paid Time Off: Take the time you need to relax and recharge with our PTO plan.
  • Free Golf Privileges: Tee off at some of the most iconic courses in the world with complimentary golf access.
  • Quarterly Incentives: When our team meets resort-wide performance goals, we get rewarded.
  • Complimentary Lunch: Stay energized with a complimentary lunch in our Staff Cafe during your shift.
  • Resort Discounts: Save on dining and merchandise throughout the resort.
  • Supportive Work Environment: Be part of a team that supports your growth and success, with opportunities to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Career Growth: Take advantage of continuous training and development opportunities to advance your career.

If you're someone who takes pride in a well-run team and a guest experience that speaks for itself, we'd like to hear from you. This role reports to the Housekeeping Manager and is a chance to do work that genuinely matters in one of the most distinctive settings on the Oregon Coast.
