This is a full time onsite position at our Bethlehem, PA facility.
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Company Background:
ABEC has been a leading supplier to the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry for over 50 years. ABEC's unique value is based on combining long experience with the ability to engineer, design, manufacture, commission, qualify, and service the entire bioprocess to reduce overall cost, shorten time to market, and maximize productivity. ABEC's products include process and equipment engineering/consulting services, comprehensive site services, bioreactors and fermenters, filtration and chromatography systems, prep and hold systems, and cleaning/sterilization systems.
Position Summary:
The Global ERP Manager will be responsible for the development of business processes, integrations with other applications, and customizations of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software at ABEC. They will also be able to provide ERP Team training and End User training for more effective use of the Syteline software. This allows ABEC to manage internal requirements required to enhance the ERP system beyond its core functionality.
The Global ERP Manager ensures the Syteline software runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible, by developing solutions for any shortcomings. The ERP Manager will lead the assessment of the company's business requirements and software needs and will oversee the conversion of these requirements into functionality that enhances the effectiveness of the ERP Syteline software system. General duties will include software analysis, working with technical teams and developing design specifications for programs.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide implementation services, system configuration, customizations, and testing.
  • Participate in business process discussions between technical staff (themselves), the ERP team, and business functional leads.
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of Infor ERP and supporting technologies.
  • Identify and scope client required system customizations.
  • Oversee customizations as specified in a scope of work document.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting issues with ERP systems.
  • Prepare necessary program documentation associated with all customizations.
  • Provide Team and End User Training.
  • Execute other tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to travel when required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field such as Computer Science or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years' ERP management experience required.
  • Prior experience with Syteline ERP Software (also known as Cloud Suite Industrial) required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer programming, systems analysis, and information technology principles.
  • MS SQL, PL SQL, or T-SQL programming experience preferred.
  • Familiarity and understanding of SQL, HTML development, and database design.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
