DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Enter and maintain quotes in our ERP and filing systems
  • Ensure quotes are accurate and completed in a timely manner
  • Use product knowledge to inform independent sales representatives of pricing, lead times and any additional information needed
  • Responsible for handling product inquiries, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives for customers and independent sales representatives
  • Provide technical product support for independent sales representatives
  • Use Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat to create and update documents
  • Provide support to other departments and individuals as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

  • Proficient in Outlook, Adobe, Excel
  • Experience working in a technical or industrial organization, providing customer service and inside sales support
  • Plumbing experience/background a plus but not required
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and phone interactions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to adjust priorities and multitask as needed
  • Work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must possess experience in customer service/inside sales
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Constant sitting
  • Occasional walking, bending, stooping and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Will be asked to spend a minimal amount of time in the manufacturing plant
  • Manufacturing plant has high level of noise
