General Position Summary
The Entry ERP Systems Analyst - Inventory plays a critical role in supporting the accuracy, stability, and day-to-day performance of inventory-related ERP processes. This position helps monitor inventory transactions, investigate system and batch issues, support data integrity across inbound and outbound flows, and provide user support for Dynamics 365 and related warehouse systems. By partnering with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors, this role helps maintain reliable inventory operations and enables informed business decision-making.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
  • Active member of the Financial Systems team.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and remediate any issues with inbound and outbound data.
  • Report and identify sources of D365 malfunction or software issues.
  • Identify and manage D365 inventory system batch failures.
  • Run SQL queries against Warehouse Management Systems and provide meaningful data to assist the warehouse and business stakeholders.
  • Provide specialized user support services. Train and assist other members of Finance and the business as needed.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to verify data accuracy and report/resolve any inaccuracies in inbound and outbound data.
  • Work on tasks assigned and report on data/records collected.
  • Communicate with employees at all levels of the company, including leadership within each department.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems, business applications, or related enterprise platforms, preferably within inventory, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
  • Understanding of inventory transactions, data flow, and reconciliation concepts across inbound, outbound, and warehouse processes.
  • Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and troubleshoot system, batch, or data discrepancies with strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or the ability to learn and run queries to research data issues and support reporting needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard business tools for reporting, analysis, and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users, provide support, and collaborate effectively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Internship, coursework, or prior experience supporting ERP, warehouse management, inventory control, retail operations, or business systems.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, warehouse management systems, or other enterprise applications is preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis, report building, process documentation, or testing in a business or technical environment is a plus.
